Like with SM/USUM and XY they spoiled 80% of the games pretty much and the rest was spoiled by leakers/dataminers, and that made me wanna go in blind the next time around. However, I’ve grown to where I like knowing a handful of info just to get ideas on teams and strategies to set up before starting the game, like with SM I decided I wanted Toxapex cuz I loved the design and typing, and Decidueye being leaked with the other two starters evos aided to my choice of starter, though I was already set with Rowlett, I saw Decidueye and then later it’s Ghost typing which is my favorite type and I was dead set on it, but I still like surprises too. My favorite encounter in SM was Dhelmise, I had steered clear of the deck leak and loved its design after reading into it after the encounter. So in short, some leaks are fine, just don’t “Delta Episode Corp Corp reveal” my ass with the plot
