Here is some info from Sword & Shield that I think you guys might find interesting. This is some of the stuff that is on schedule to talk about during the Pokemon Direct at E3.
> The Gym Masters tie into the story a lot more and you will interact with them a lot more than previous games.
> There will be quests you MUST complete in order to gain access to the gym. Such as bringing certain items based on that specific Gym Master quest-line.
> The Pokemon League is located on an island that you gain access to after you collect all badges. You will receive a formal invitation previous major character once you get all 8 badges that grants you access to travel to the island.
> NPC's/Gym Masters levels and difficulty will scale according to the level of your Pokemon.
> You will notice that the Legendary Pokemon are referenced pretty frequently throughout the game, via stories, statutes, and various other ruins.
> You will be able to combine certain items to create a stronger item. Such as Potions and Super Potions to make a Hyper Potion
> Incubators will be utilized in the game like in Pokemon Go for hatching eggs. You will not have to buy them, you will be given one from the Pokemon Breeder after completing his quest-line and it is able to be used infinite times.
