Real talk here even though Cain's design is atrocious he's the one character from Reborn I would hang with.

Aya is one of the few non annoying characters to me. Sure she's a whiny teenager but her circumstances make it understandable.
Hardy, Ciel and Samson are the only other bearable characters. And Ciel gets offed out of nowhere

The rest of the characters need to be culled though.

The misdreavus side quest has her "ghost" basically snap at you blaming you for getting her killed
