>>38523913I do see a lot of people doing those varied things in both low and high ladder though. I see it commonly run either the 3 Attacks or 2 + Leech and Synthesis but I've seen people run a full on wall with Sleep Powder as high up as 1800s and I actually see Earthquake very commonly. It's actually a pretty big debate these days as to whether Earthquake or HP Fire is better, and they both help it greatly (Earthquake lets it handle Poison Types, certain Fire Types, all variants of Magearna, Heatran and Charizard-X, while HP Fire is better against most steel types such as Scizor, Ferro and Kartana, certain Grass and Ice types, and Celesteela). I personally run Earthquake because I have a lot of things on my team who can handle the stuff it uses HP Fire for so it frees up that slot to let it deal with other things, and it's pretty fun to watch people switch in heatran on my saur thinking it's safe only to watch it just die because of it's x4 Ground weakness. With Stealth Rocks up it can even net OHKOs on the bulkier variants of Heatran.
I've even seen a guy who used Amnesia on Venusaur and managed to pull it off. And all this stuff I've mentioned is just for the Mega, not Chlorosaur.
I guess Serperior does have more too him than I thought though so I'll give you credit for helping me appreciate him even more than I already did. But it's hard to deny all of his sets basically revolve around different variations of "Contrary + Leaf Storm". That's not to say he's bad, he does that one thing very frickin' well and he can 6-0 teams who are unprepared for him. It's just he's easy to neuter if you know what you're doing or have a x4 resist to grass. Or something with Pressure.
Also didn't know it even got Defog, that's pretty cool. Learned something new today.
