X and Y could be top tier games if GF put effort into making them challenging and not shoving free megas in your face. Kalos is arguably one of the most scenic regions and GF had to work overtime to fuck up such a nice atmospnere. The "Rivals" are easily the worst in the fucking series. At least there's only one Hau. in SM. X and Y lowered the bar for Pokemon games, and you see shit like SM and LGBTE as a result. Gen 8 literally cannot be worse.
