I used one in USUM. Great at tanking but doesn't hit very hard. It relied mostly on shenanigans with Air Slash, Confuse Ray and Scald.
Was pretty fun.

I did because of that Skarmory thread. Now I want a Mantine evolution.
Mantonne: takes Mantine's blob of a body and makes it more obviously resemble a flying wing bomber.

Used one in Ultra Sun as well.
Needed a water resister to beat the water totem and Mantyke seemed perfect.
Happened to get one with a sp def boosting nature too and his walling ability was great use in game.
