I'll never understand Smogon's affinity for stall when Gamefreak fucking clearly doesn't want it to be a viable option.
Unfortunately GF are also terrible at balancing their own game so they don't know how to make it obsolete besides introducing insane offense powercreep and making shitty Uber doubles their official gamemode.
All they'd have to do is fix the distribution of certain moves.
There is no reason why every Pokémon in the game learns toxic. I mean, the SUPPOSED reason is so you can beat the entire game with a shitmon but you'd be able to do that without toxic spam anyway so it's a pointless gesture. Remove that shit from the likes of Chansey.
While we're at it, substitute and protect also have no good goddamn reason to be learned by literally every Pokémon. Should be reserved for slower mons in 99% of cases. Remove that shit from the likes of gliscor and serperior.
