So what you would do is you just empty your bag of pokeballs into the water around you creating a sort of minefield of pokeballs. If the Feraligatr lunges at you it will likely hit one of the pokeballs instead, capturing itself for a few seconds and giving you a chance to escape. If you're a real fucking man you'll float around in the water until one of the pokeballs eventually captures it.
