not bad
I'd also propose something that calls up the ensuing steam effect
But having it gain White Smoke when hit by water would be too out there.

It currently has a base stat total of 430
That's not good enough for anything without a great ability and typing

It doesnt need to be invincible. Water immunity is still an incredible buff

That would be because Magcargo is still
>Fire/Rock, an absolutely terrible typing defensively, but good offensively
>slow as shit with 30 Speed - the opposite of what you'd want with its typing
>stuck with a shitty HP stat of 60, completely undercutting its already mediocre defenses
>stuck with an abysmal BST of 430
>stuck with three abilities that do nothing for it (Flame Body doesn't help it tank hits, Magma Armor is useless, and Weak Armor makes it frailer to boost its abysmal Speed)
