Anon, taking inspiration from or following a trend isn't being a knockoff.
Gigalith and Golem are both rock monsters, but two rock monsters with completely different concepts, designs, and execution.

This is true though. Power Gem, Flash Cannon, Earth Power, and Solarbeam/Bloom Doom would've been fun on this thing. It's Pokedex entries even support it being a Special Attacker.

I don't like BW, but I've never finished BW2. The earlygame is too much of a slog for me to enjoy it, I don't give a shit about any of the characters, I don't like the new mons. But hey, if the zoomers want to enjoy it fine by me.
