ITT The stupidest ideas Gamefreak has made

This. It was smart of them to future proof the models, but it was dumb of them to not make lower-quality versions for the 3DS. It doesn't help that Gamefreak is bad at optimization in general. Remember the reveal that they just copy-pasted models and textures instead of referring to them once in the code, wasting a metric fuckton of game space?
