Why do people like remakes so much? Boring as fuck. Just replay the original if you wanna calm down that nostalgia boner. I'd prefer to have new mons, new characters, new regions.

That’s not how it works. Some people just want a remake for the hell of it. I don’t see why they shouldn’t get one if they want it. People act like remakes ruin the originals, but they don’t since you can just replay the originals like you said. Nothing bad can come from remaking them. Even if the games are shit and you don’t like them, you can just go play the originals. Let the people who want a remake have the experience that they’ll enjoy.

You're hilarious. Remember how "updated" Hoenn's 1:1 tileset was in the remake? Not to mention the enemy teams were braindead (ex. Maxie's Camerupt) and the game was actually easier than the original thanks to the exp. share and a midgame Lati@s. If that's the direction GF wants to take remakes, I'll stick to Platinum before I ask GF to take out 2 years for a downgraded experience.

After the perfection that was ORAS why wouldnt you ? I mean it's not slow like the old games I dont have to use a PC to emulate it cause everyone knows phone emulation is garbage. Touch is never gonna be good as buttons. And if the do the remake right you get a much better experience than trying to emulate a potatoe

ORAS has a better story, soundtrack, and it’s got the physical special split that the originals didn’t have.

Most of ORAS themes ae half assed,have you listened to the gym leader battle one?Disgusting souless piece of crap it is.Only few ones sound a lil better than the OG ones like the Groudon/Kyogre one.

Only competitivefags care about it and even then there are hardcore players who enjoy gen 1-3 battles because of that adequate flavor the pre-split battle had.

Not him, but I think the story is a little better than R/S in that Team Magma/Aqua have an actual motivation for their goals, more characterization for the rival (not to mention letting their starter be fully-evolved unlike the originals). I agree that the Delta Episode needs some work on it. As for OST, it's subjective as there are tracks I like from ORAS (there are tracks I like from R/S/E more).
