Waiting to see what the ‘mini’ and ‘pro’ really turn out to be. If Mini is just basically a cheaper portable that’s what I’m getting. Back in the day I only bought a N64 and GameCube for Pokémon stuff. Not making that mistake again.

The other games on switch are worth it already imo, Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon are just a few. But at this point I say wait for E3 before you jump in, they’ll probably announce their new switch versions there

the frame rate issues I’ve noticed have been there when the console is on the dock as well. Handheld mode isn’t much different in that regard, but it’s nothing extremely noticeable

Buying a whole new system just for pokemon is risky desu. If you're not interested in any other switch games, I'd probably just wait until either a cheaper version of the switch comes out or until the inevitable enhanced version of these games at least

mario odyessey (FUN)
breath of the wild (boring, regretting it)
smash (fun but all the newcomers are terrible)
mario kart (fun)
mario party (fun)
and probably a few other games soon

havent really played pokemon since gen 3, but every gen there's at least one pokemon i like in terms of design. EXCEPT for 7. fuck that looks like the worst gen
