I was breeding Druddigons with specific egg moves & ability once and I got a shiny Druddigon out of nowhere like that, but since it had bad IVs, I just wonder traded it.

Pretty excited if it’s random, when I hunt I’m also pretty excited (I hunt 4-5 full odds). I hate these faggots on youtube who fucking scream whenever they get an sos/wormhole/lgpe shiny though acting like they actually accomplished something when they spend a week max on hunting

I just got one earlier today believe it or not, a shiny Nidoran female in Y. I did the open onions mouth while in my bed and wiggled my feet back and forth a bit, then said to myself, "today is going to be a good day", caught it while being somewhat nervous and then just continued my search for a Stunky.

Depends. If I find it while EV training a 'mon or just walking by, pic related.
If I'm actually hunting for it, it ussually takes me by surprise so you know, "gasp its here" and then catch it. Thats all.

thanks bro. I've got quite a few of them now. I actually really do think they increased the chances of encountering a shiny in gen 6 and beyond cause I've seen quite a few now with both 6 and 7.

The like 4 times I’ve ever encountered a shiny it’s just been me going “Oh shit a shiny [insert Pokémon here]!” and just widdling down its HP before catching it. Or it’s a case of one time in Ruby when I found a shiny Zigzagoon before I even got the Pokedex or PokeBalls and I was forced to faint it.

I encountered a few shinies back when they first introduced horde battles and my reaction was always "Oh a shiny, whatever, run away".

Youtubers overplay their shiny reactions because it's youtube, they HAVE to scream like autist to amuse their audience of 8 year olds. And shinies lose value when everyone is either breed exploiting or insert via hex.
