>>38533395Call me a 4kids apologist, but there are actual issues with guns being shown in children's media on American television. Some anon in this thread brought up BTAS, and I remember reading that they had a hell of a time getting guns allowed in their cartoon, needing to go through a bunch of hoops to get their show to air, including only a certain amount of screentime, only bad guys having real guns, ect.
It is entirely possible that 4kids felt they could not get the episode to air, or somebody told them their is no way it's working. The gun content in the Dratini episode is different than that of the Squirtle Squad episode.
