>>38542579until gen 5 it was a healthy competition betwen char venu and toise, then TPC decided that giving all the attention to just one of them was easier, and going the lazy way is almost a given with this shitty ass company so it has been nothing but charizard pandering, they even took the route to adjust the meta and create megas that are blatantly inferior to both mega charizard y and x (that´s very surprising since they actually had to create ,mechanics to make their golden child outshine everyone else), i´m expecting more charizard pandering in gen 8 too, i will always love blastoise, is the only of the three Kanto starters that works as a pokemon and not some generic monster from a random rpg, their mega forms even accentuate this point, blastoise is cool as shit.
