So maybe its different in languages with gender neutral words but in languages without them it conditions people to think about every thing has either male or female. This of course applies to pokemon as well.

When the gender is not directly informed, which pokemon do you perceive has male or female?
Share your own, I just did gen 1 to keep it short but feel free to point out interesting points of your own gendering process from any gen.

I think of most pokemon as male by default and here are the exceptions, mind you this happens completely automatically, I dont have to rationalize this thoughts: (next post)
