The Kyurem fusions at least had the effort put in to be given their own unique body types and poses, the Necrozma ""fusions"" are literally just Solgaleo and Lunaala awkwardly covered in ugly black shit.

Not to mention the Kyurem fusions actually convey the sense that they're Frankenstein abominations while the Necrozma ones come off more as power rangers power ups than Necrozma parasitically implanting itself into them.

I'm not debating armor evolution, that's irrelevant. The line is literally a marketing tool to draw viewers. It's not making a rule. Literally the same as if there were commercials during the XY anime series that said "come watch Ash-Greninja, seen on TV only!" before the SM demo was announced.
