Remember when this was Mewtwo's "Awakened Form"? Armored Mewtwo is the same shit, it's a preview of a new mechanic being introduced in Gen 8.

Kind of a difference between "Awakened" that implies a power up and them telling you the armor is literally weakening it which would defeat the purpose of it being a gen 8 mechanic.

Others weren't confirmed anime/movie-only, people just assumed they were because they were introduced that way ("awakened Mewtwo", Ash Greninja, perfect Zygarde, etc) but this time they actually gave us an official answer, which says armor Mewtwo won't be in the games
