In terms of gameplay features, is there any reason not to pirate the games that are so old that you can get them to run on your phone?
>only need to carry around one device
>my phone is smaller than my DS
>I'm going to be carrying my phone around anyway
>means that I don't have to worry about gen 1/2 battery problems
I'm asking because I'm wanting to play through my old gen 2 carts, all of which have their batteries dead, and I've realised that it'd be easier to just emulate them than it would be to fix the carts. Will I lose anything from doing this? For example, I've caught 'em all on my gen 1 carts and would like to use trading to finish the job, but I'm not sure how I'd trade between a phone and a Gameboy (maybe just mod the pokemon in?). What about later gens like gen 4? Would I lose anything then?
