Here's a thought for an ice-type hazard:
>SnowdriftYou lay down a layer of ice that doesn't do anything directly (although it could slow down the target when used - not like Sticky Web, but more like any other slowing move). When three layers are built up, it freezes the target, and then clears all layers.
It would be the only 100% assured freezing move, but it costs three turns of battle to set up, can be cleared by spinning or defogging, and Magma Armor could also cause it to melt away each turn.
While I'm spitballing ideas, entry helpers that assist mons on your own team when sending them out should have been a thing by now.
>Healing AshA fire-type entry helper that can have up to 2 layers. Each layer heals 1/16 of a Pokemon's HP when sent into battle.
>GuidelightA fairy-type entry helper that illuminates the field when a Pokemon is sent in, raising their accuracy.
