>>38569512Feats and skill are two different things. Red has the highest leveled Pokemon of any of them, and Blue has become a Champion, Gym Leader, and Professor, the two both help run an entire Tournament in another region, etc.
While they aren't out here catching Gods of Time or beasts from other dimensions, they're certainly more skilled overall. Any of the characters can be placed into any of the games, their feats matter little when they're meant to be self-inserts. Barry and Gold are two good ones too, high level teams, one of them beat Red (whether canon or not is irrelevant apparently in this thread), etc.
It's like saying Prof. Oak isn't skilled or have any feats despite being one of the first Champions to our knowledge, a Professor, creating the Pokedex, running a radio show in another region, etc. Sometimes feats matter more than anime powers. Also Pokemon can die to simple swords like its nothing. They may be Godly in terms of a lot of things, but science/pokeball trump them easily, as well as they seem to be naturally terrified of Humans, and for good reason. It's not a fair assessment of just what they've caught or done, in a tiny time period, we have to look at the big picture and everything, Red would have caught Giratina and shit as well if that was his game, for example.
