The problem I see with his team is that they don't really focus on countering what is likely to be the primary type sent against them, look at this from a new player's perspective, they're likely going to use Electric on Pidgeot, Fire on Vileplume, Water on Rapidash, Grass on Slowbro, Ground on Jolteon & Grass or Water on Marowak. Of the team, Marowak and Slowbro are the only ones to counter their probable weaknesses, it's also disappointing that his team doesn't really reflect the original Yellow team that well, Blue's team revolved around his RB team with Aerodactyl and Tauros swapped in for Pidgeot & Rhydon, so it doesn't seem unreasonable for Trace to have used Cloyster instead of Slowbro and Ninetales or Arcanine instead of Rapidash.
