I know I'm super late on the Clover train, but I've been playing it and having a great time. I've also started to just bulldoze gyms and trainers. Honestly, I've been using the same team since shortly after the 2nd gym--these are really easy Pokemon to get a hold of.

My team:
>Lizakbar
>Barbarkley
>Nutzboltz
>Wifemin
>Semdemen
>Mooshock

Of all of them, my starter is actually the least used. Semdemen and Nutzboltz are freakin' great and they punish a huge range of Pokemon in the game. The Barbarkley is kind of a glass cannon sometimes so I gave him Leftovers, but he has Brick Break and Thief, which make him super useful.
