HeartGolf and SoulSilver are always going to be the best Pokemon remakes because they actually had heart and soul put into them, and GF will never do that again.

Said nobody. I love Hoenn but ORAS were pretty lame remakes. Even FRLG were better compared to their original games. The only thing ORAS has over RSE is the physical/special split and other minor quality of life changes made in Gens 4-6. Too many cuts and not enough new content.

It also has the gen 6 online multiplayer features, which are the best. And the Delta Episode and being able to catch all the legendaries I guess. Not much else though, and not having all the other stuff from the original is disappointing.

Why do they keep making remakes and rereleases? B2W2-like sequels would be way more interesting.

What we've seen so far is very disappointing. Plus online multiplayer definitely won't be integrated in the actual gameplay like it was in gen 6, and now you have to pay an additional subscription service if you want to use the Internet connection you already paid for because Nintendo knows they can get away with it.

They don't use servers for the actual gameplay. It's always peer 2 peer. Like it's always been.
