>>38585091>>38585172The biggest thing is the RNG it brings with it, even by pokemon standards. I won't go into Whitney's case since it's safe to say most already know what RNG is involved there. A lot of it is from competitive singles, since so many of the things this pokemon does has some RNG component to it: praralysis from thunder wave/body slam, flinch from stomp, rock slide, or zen headbutt( and I guess Heart Stamp, though I've never seen that one), Dizzy Punch confusion, etc. Between anything you're using ,like 90% accurate play rough because you have no alternative or going with High Jump Kick because it's more powerful than Close Combat, and the shit it brings to the table, RNG will fuck you at least once whenever this thing's on screen.
Second, its stall factor. It's not as bad as the faces of the playstyle, but that's partially because the thing that waters it down is the aforementioned RNG. It's not the most formidable opponent, but it will have Rest when you Toxic it and then get good sleep talk pulls(hey more RNG), Wish and/or Heal Bell to heal something else you're worried about, or Milk Drink when you try and set something up banking on Rest.
The last big thing is its inexplicable 100 speed. Supposedly it rolls fast, but that doesn't really explain anything. Unlike a lot of walls, this thing can often outspeed your non-wallbreakers uninvested, which is what makes the aforementioned RNG and healing such a pain. 100 speed isn't as impressive as it used to be(e.g. BL bird), but this still makes it faster than genesect and non-mega lucario, as fast as charizard and rayquaza, and just slower than garchomp. Sometimes it will even outspeed after setting up a Curse.
This is by no means the strongest pokemon ever made, but there;s nobody else that makes a victory more hollow to me because of what it puts me through in the process. Yeah, stuff like Serene Grace is statistically worse, but the way Miltank puts all of this crap together is more infuriating.
