What's really the point of being a specialist if some don't even use Pokemon of their type?

Type specialist could have their Pokemon stats boosted like badges did in first three generations or totems in Alola.

Fire type specialists, like Flint, could have 1.5x more power in Fire type moves and 1.1x boost of all stats if Pokemon is the fire type or not fire but with a status fire move. That would make more diverse teams that could still be attached to one type. It could also fix Arceus and Silvally making them change type according to their trainer specialty.
