>>38586748Honestly the one thing I don't really like about it is the fact that most of them look mean, like the distribution between cute and nice mons vs the mean/fierce looking ones is different from the main games, generally there's only maybe a fourth of a dex filled with feral looking mons, shit you would rather not fuck with IRL while the majority looks silly and nice enough, and here it's kind of the opposite
Like most of them look very dinosaur-ish, which I love to see in the main games but there might be a tad too many there
Otherwise, if we're talking only quality wise then I find it completely on par with any of the newer gen, there's some what the fuck in there and some less inspired than others, but that's just something that comes with having to design over two hundred monsters for a single game
Hope it gets finished someday so I can actually play with them instead of just looking at them
