The enjoyable parts of detective Pikachu are seeing Pokemon interact with humans in the 'real world' and how they co-exist.

If you are into Pokémon and not trying to be a bandwagoner, watch it. Personally I gave it a 7 out of 10. The worldbuilding is great, but everything else is just slightly above average, including the plot.
