>>38587357>it's a remake of a game that already got a remake 15 years ago, yet it has objectively less content of said remake in terms of maps, mechanics and pokemonIt's the first and only remake of yellow, though
>but it's the same as red/blue!That's your opinion
The point of yellow was to give players the ash experience, with pikachu following you around and having an affection bar, which is exactly what they focused on for this game and I'm rather happy with and fond of, though I understand it's not to everyone's taste, especially on this board
I'll give you the lack of mechanics and content though, like no bike, no abilities, no safari, but I pointed those out already so w/e
>it has nothing to do after beating the E4Like in the original?
More is always better, but it's not like I felt cheated, 60 bucks for a good 45-50 hours of content?
And I'm sure you can add another twenty if you wanted to catch'em all
>it looks like a glorified 3ds game in terms of graphicsFound it rather nice looking desu
And it's not like the switch can perform much better either, we had a very well animated pikachu which was what I was looking for
>blocky mapWhat, you wanted them to redo the entire region? What for?
The game was obviously targetted at nostalgiafags and the ones that have kids, to give them a taste of what it was like 'back in my days'
I felt great rediscovering the exact same map I spent hundreds of hours when I was a kid, and then even better when I remembered the location of some of the hidden items etc
>tall grassThat's more design than anything, the grass is there to display the fact that there are mons to catch around it
Can't really take this as a negative point desu
>it blocked mew behind a shitty 50$ peripheralAnd it was impossible for me to get it as a kid because there weren't any such events happening anywhere around where I lived, your point?
That's like whining about them having DLCs, if you don't feel it's worth it then don't buy it, idk
