It's a shame he has never used Eevee since yellow, It could easily replace his Pidgeot/Aerodactyl and it's evolution would be based on which starter you choose.

Venusaur = Jolteon
Charizard = Flareon
Blastoise = Vaporeon

Nah I feel Aerodactyl fits too well for him, like Arcanine, Nidoking, Blastoise, etc. I'd remove Machamp or Exeggcutor to be honest.

I'd do.

Espeon for Venusaur, and Vaporeon for Charizard.
