I just finished filming a shot of becoming a possible sex slave to kantonese witch queen.

Jokes aside, the rewards that you get for doing films are great. One guy gives you 5 lemonade after each film and the movies add lore and (fetish norms) to the pokemon in-universe pop culture.
There is even a possible hint towards generation 6 and Diantha by a guard who infront of a dressing room.
