I'm pretty curious to see the gym leaders get redesigned. And if Sword and Shield introduces a new gym mechanic, I wonder if it'll get ported to the remakes.

I don't know what it is about Sinnoh in particular, but all of its gym leaders are fun and memorable.

I hope they make the Sinnoh gym leaders more memorable by giving them a larger role. Maybe have Roark talk with his dad in Canalave City, Gardenia help you raid the Eterna Galactic Building, have Roark, Byron, and Gardenia fight Team Galactic at Lake Verity, and Wake, Maylene and Fantina fight at Lake Valor. Candice helps Barry at Team Acurity. Then the first seven Gym Leaders help raid the Galactic HQ and Mt Coronet
