this is the only grookey evolution I've seen that looks even remotely close to something GF would do.

I like the final evolution but the boots (?) look a bit weird being shaped like monkey paws. I can't quite put my finger on it,but the way the fur isn't "connected" to the thighs,makes them look like fingersocks

And this looks like utter shit. This would be one of those "welp I'm over pokemon this time for good" moments. Last gen was an utter wreck but I'm hoping GF knows that and have decided to make a better game more like xy this gen. Or what ever im not a pokefag I dont mind leaving for good.

Brown ears, light green face, orange mouth, orange hands/feet, same shape/color drum stick.
With Rowlet's line, the colors/ shapes aren't consistent on those parts through all 3, even if they are in 2.

And since when Rowlet's line became a rule for all starters? Treecko line keeps the same colors with Treecko's green just being bighter than Grovyle/Sceptile - the same for Bulbasaur line.
Snivy line also keeps the same palette. And while Torterra loses the yellow parts, its colors are still carried through Turtwig/Grotle.
