Had this big guy since I was 8 years old, transferred him up to ORAS, and then maxed out his stats with bottle caps in S/M, and I still thank God he has a Jolly nature so I can use him for doubles. Even if he wasn't competitively viable or was just bad, I'd still keep him no matter what.
