>>38600914>Should have won Kanto leagueAsh was a complete weakling back then. Ash got by through sheer luck.
>Fairly lost in Johto, though to a pokemon nobody knew about at the timeHarrison's Blaziken was just slightly stronger, and it should be noted that it was so injured from the last battle that it didn't even participate in Harrison's next match, resulting in his loss. This was also the league where Ash relied on other people training his Pokemon for him.
>Lost to a gag character's pokemon in HoennTyson was a competent trainer as evidenced by all of his matches. Tyson's Meowth was about as strong as Ash's Pikachu in strength, and the only reason why Meowth won against Pikachu was because Pikachu exhausted itself by battling Metagross. Tyson's Hariyama, Sceptile, and Metagross were extremely powerful too.
>Sinnoh happenedAsh chose a mediocre team aside from Pikachu and Sceptile to fight against Tobias, and he specifically chose Heracross as an anti-Darkrai counter.
>Lost to Lucario being jerked off in UnovaAsh's team was pathetically ill-equipped to handle the league, as evidenced by how Pikachu and Pignite carried Ash's win against Roxie, and the other Pokemon did nothing. Boldore, Unfezant, and Oshawott were especially weak and frail. Also, it should be noted that the only reason why Cameron lost 4 of his Pokemon to begin with was because he kept them out in type disadvantages.
>Absolutely no fucking excuse to have lost in Kalos, but he fucked up anywayAlain's Charizard had much more battle experience, defeated way more powerful opponents (including an Elite 4's Mega Houndoom, and nearly beat another one's Mega Blastoise), and even battled Steven and Legendary Pokemon to a near standstill. Alain won against his semifinal opponent with just 2 Pokemon, showing how proficient he was. He had absolutely no problem defeating Korrina's Mega Lucario, either. If you thought Ash and Alain were on the same level, you clearly weren't paying attention.
