Pickering's a surprisingly decent name for Fletchinder.

If it makes you feel any better, Sanford, my loyal Marowak, was pretty fucked when he was but a Cubone.
It took him a damn long time to get him to fully trust me. He had violent outbursts (Bone Club hurts) and moments where he'd just sit in a corner and cry. I have NO idea who his previous owner was but they fucked him up, and the final catalyst was leaving him for dead (I found him on the curb one morning, poor lad).
But, spending enough time made him realize I was chill, and he mostly recovered from his trauma (He still has moments of sadness, and for some reason Houndour and Houndoom REALLY scare him) and now he's my rad pal.
