Fairy is decent but it really doesn't change things that much.
I do like Gen 6/7 Pokemon designs, but they wouldn't appear in Gen 4 remakes anyway so it's a moot point.
Gameplay-wise the only major additions are Megas which have been rightfully dropped for being retarded, and Z-Moves which are a complete abortion of a mechanic.
Gen 8 is gonna have another gimmicky shitfest of a mechanic because that's all GF know how to do.
