HGSS should be played after Emerald. Gen 1 and 3 happen at the same time the same as 2 and 4. Also, mechanics. Getting used to HGSS mechanics and then going back to Emerald seems counter-intuitive.

Gen 1 TMs are just as shit as Gen 1 movepools. So many of them are wasted on normal type moves.
As if Swift, Tri Attack, Take Down, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Rage, Double Edge, Razor Wind, Pay Day and fucking Egg Bomb need to be TMs when Body Slam and Hyper Beam exist.
