It was an okay movie I liked the pokemons despite having several flaws.
First they mostly used 1st gen pokemon. That wouldn't be a problem but there's like only 2 7th gen pokemon and 30 1st gen pokemon. But the biggest problem was that they only used in all 30 pokemons in the city it was ALWAYS the same one that followed people : treecko/jigglypuff/squirtle/charmender/bulbasaur/pancham/sneasel/growlithe they didn't want to model other pokemon that was really lazy, it didn't feel as good as it should have. The plot was quite stupid but nobody really watched the movie for the plot. Like why would the villain just leave his unconscious body next to the MC just so he can remove the neurological thing easily, wtf ?
What I really really missed was the fact that there was no battles, yeah I get it, no trainer and no battle in the city but that was really cheap. The shtick of pokemon is having a team of 6 and battling with them they could have at least shown us a battle through the television that'd have been really cool. Last thing what the fuck was that about pokémon not understanding what human says ? Ofc they understand them how would trainers work if not ? They are just shouting random names attacks and pokemon listen to the orders but they can't understand humans? wtf
I hope we get another pokémon movie like this one but not in this city. A movie with a real trainer.
Btw the girl was really really cute, I bet she has cute feet.
