Dumbledore is gay is ONE the thing that doesn't bother me at all, and I think it's unfair to put it in the bag with all the batshit stuff she's been saying. Dumbledore never shows interest in anyone in the books, not even a comment on how a singer is hot, he could've been anything. Gay, bisexual, asexual, a furry, whatever. It fits perfectly in the canon and it doesn't negate anything.
Can we criticize her for doing nothing with it? You're right. Absolutely. Again, she wants brownie points. But this thread isn't about that. It's about when word of god is valid. And as long as it doesn't contradict the canon source, then yeah, it is valid.
