Broken implies that there is very little in the way of checks or counters to Incineroar. It's very manageable to deal with, but the fact that it does so many different things so well (and better than most alternatives) makes it ubiquitous. Kind of the same reason Landorus and Thundurus used to be so popular.

This basically. It makes no sense that a heel fighter doesn't know Sucker Punch(or surprise attack in Japanese, which fits even better). Hell, cats in general habitually sneak up on their parents or owners to play. Plus there's so much protect in VGC that it probably wouldn't be very viable, especially since it was nerfed this generation.

It's obviously built to be a defensive pivot but it's weak to rock AND grounded so it gets overwhelmed easily by hazardstack and tspike.
It also has no business switching into the biggest physical threats in OU. It loses to SD Lando, Garchomp, SD Kartana, Mega Medicham, Ttar, Exacdrill, SD Gliscor, Mega Zard X, Mega Lopunny, etc.
Its ability is incredible, it's stat spread is good, it's support movepoool is decent, but Incineroar's typing is EXTREMELY bad for a defensive Pokemon in OU.
