As for your type matchups, yeah, think of a way to neutralize Fightin'-types in particular. Well-trained Fightin'-types seem to know EXACTLY where to strike to fell opponents quickly, whether it be pressure points, vital areas, joints, plain 'ol weak spots, ect. Grapplers in particular SUCK when they get a hold of your Pokemon.
Like this one time, Hydreigon was fightin' this dude's Machamp, and that motherfucker grabbed onto him and, rather than pummelin' him like I expected, he made Hydreigon's arms fuckin' useless by pressin' on that reeeally sensitive spot around the elbow, since Hydreigon uses his arms for long-ranged attacks too. Needless to say I lost and Hydreigon needed a few hours to recover.
Fightin'-types suck, man.

As for your Jigglypuff, I dunno. Every Pokemon's got it's quirks. Hydreigon has a SERIOUS sweet tooth, for example.

As a Dark-type specialist I kinda feel obligated to resent folks like you but honestly I find the idea of cute-ass Pokemon beatin' the shit outta real big 'n tough one hilarious.
Anyway, just do what YOU think's aight. Maybe you could kinda do either of these things on the side, like maybe have Pokemon who specialize in doin' contests while others are fit to battle.
