>>38626877>>38626883>Doesn't that work with the wrestling motifNot more than it does with, you know. The cat motif. As opposed to it doing some actual wrestling.
>Which is marked to resemble a wrestling singletIf I was really forcing myself to see it I guess it could look like an inverted strongman singlet. But yet again, it just looks more like normal fucking cat fur than anything else.
>>38626817Not that anon, but here are my 5 cents.
It's not that I want the pokemon to "just get bigger", it's that I want a design-continuity in the themes that the pokemon is built with. And in the Litten-line Incineroar does a 180 and sticks out like a sore broken thumb.
There is no clue in Litten's design as to where it could go to become Incineroar, bar that they've both got "cat features".
Litten and Torracat are quadrupedal, wide shilouettes, and are built and designed like housecats.
Incineroar is a tall humanoid pokemon, who pulled the wrestling theme out it's ass.
You can argue that "the wrestling theme was creeping in since Torracat!" like the other anon, but that's still wrong, and impossible to conclude without backtracking the design from Incineroar, instead of building on it since Litten.
If Incineroar was more squat and wide, built sort of like Swampert, -then there would be some arguable design continuity. (Even though the wrestling thing would still come a bit out of nowhere).
It's not that I hate the wrestling thing either, but that the execution is horrible.
