>>38626734>What harm does it really cause you to hear about gay people sometimes?Kids are impressionable, and in ways that are basically beyond control. Try to suppress something and they will cling to it immediately in rebellion, let that thing roam free and it will plant the seeds of later adoption.
As it stands, homosexuality is praised openly in public by many famous and well known figures. It is socially acceptable, more than that, it is popular. And worse, it is idealized, wrapped up in nearly imperceptible sheets of socialist dogma to be delivered to the masses.
Homosexuality, queerness, transsexualism, etc have all become trends. Fast tracks to getting attention, both negative and positive, and the kids willing to adopt it for that attention don't care which. With negative attention they can be a victim and receive pity and benefits. With positive attention they can just float along in their social bubbles through school. Both options give them a sense of belonging to a community, and the satisfaction of thinking that surely they're morally just.
The defense against this sort of intrusion is supposed to be society, but society is now post-society. Post-society is the engine of constant change, as opposed to society, which is supposed to uphold norms and moral values key to our survival in spite of the changes that occur. We have no defense anymore. With how deeply education has penetrated the unconscious minds of the public, and in the face of the vast net of mass media, even a radical and total reformation of the current public schooling system would have minimal effect. At best, we could recover after three whole generations of kids. But as it stands, we never will, because we refuse to stem the bleeding out of ignorance. These gayed up kids will hit the wall at 22, with no life experience since they were sheltered by their identity. Then every corporation out there will swoop in to take them on a ride and swindle them for everything they have left.
