Grass is my favorite type.
The fact that it utilizes status moves and moves that deals damage and heals back at the same time like Giga Drain made it my favorite.

Only casuals and brainlets dislike Grass because it needs actual skill and thinking to use, unlike the baby-friendly fire/water types who just about "press ember to win lol".

It is funny how in-game can teach you that grass is awful, but it's resistances are as useful as its weaknesses are damning (water, electric, and ground are pretty great types to stop in their tracks, and it gets to do so much.
