What the fuck is going on with the Pokemon movies in this Generation?

I just wanna have an Alola movie with Summer Wars-Tier Animation.

Or an Hoenn Movie if the movie's keep on revisiting the older regions.

They didn't flop, but they didn't do great. They went with AU because of the anniversary and because multiverse shit from gen 7. This year's movie is just the first one in 3D because of LGPE.
