It's a great and smart movie.
Even though it doesn't start on this world, it still starts with a person that want's nothing to do with pokemon, and then slowly grants the allure of having pokemon. It slowly grants normies why we veteran trainers love pokemon so much

Tim is on the train to Rhyme City, Lickitung approaches him, and licks his face long and slow, covering him in siliva in spite of Tim asking him not. When done, the Lickitung looks pleased with itself, and Tim asks if anyone on the train owns it. To which nobody responds.
and that's it.
You can see it appear in the bg a few times and a ditto transforms into one during a fight scene but it doesn't play a big role

Anyone else pissed about the score? There was only one piece of music from the games and that was the main theme in the end credits, the rest was generic movie score horse shit. The series has so many great compositions for so many different moods, I would have loved to hear them or at least original compositions that sounded like the games music.

Besides that the movie was decent.

It was a solid 7.5/10 to me. Still would choose to watch M21 again, though, if I had to choose. However, DP is definitely going to be much better than M22 in retrospect.
