I'm really tired of almost every single NPC battle consisting of nothing but 2-3 underleved shitmons that just get one-shotted. Not only that, but 90% of the moves and strategies available go unused because the games are just that easy, so here's my proposal to make the games more interesting.
>majority of NPCs have 4-6 mons and are about equal level with yours
>all NPCs make full use of specific gimmicks and strategies
>spamming damage only moves will almost never work
Essentially all NPC are like mini bosses, and battles become like those you would find in a battle facility, in which you actually have to use your brain if you want to win. The flipside to this is that your team is automatically healed after each battle since you will frequently find 5/6 of your party members KO'd.
Thoughts? Any ideas you have?
