While I agree about wanting a new region and roster of pokemon, I do not want the games stagnating or declining in overall quality. The Switch is a lot more powerful, and they should be doing more things to justify that $60 price tag. Unlike LGPE.

Probably won't. I don't need the games to enjoy the designs and I haven't gotten any of the 3DS games as they looked disappointing. No upper versions or remakes either as they're lazy cashgrab rehashes wasting time that could have been spent towards making a fully realised game.

Agreed, I skipped let's go just for that reason. Even though I said 60 dollars is nothing to me, Let's go is not a 60 dollar game. But to be fair, alot of switch games aren't 60 dollar games that cost 60 dollars anyway.

I don't want to see anymore remakes personally. I love Sinnoh, but if it's remake was just a 1:1 map and not re-imagined for 3D then there is no point. Upper versions might as well be DLC now that they're on the Switch.

I only got around to beating Black 2 last year and I loved it. The Memory Link feature made it even better. Sucks that I missed out on the Dream World and shit though.

Overworld encounters would be perfect with a larger, more detailed world instead of the small, cramped routes of Kanto, and with normal catching mechanics. I would love to use something like the dexnav to identify a Pokémon I want and then stalk it through the overworld until I’m ready to ambush it. I’ve wanted shit like that forever. We will never get anything like it.

That's true. Game Boy maps aren't the best for it.I don't think we would get a map of that scale until gen 9 at the earliest. Another case of "it's their first time on the hardware, wait for next time" Except next time doesn't seem to come, or it's one step forward, two back.
